Our speciality “Le Suisse”, 200 years of age, is a funny little shorbread man, flavoured with candied orange peel. The legend says it was created by a baker from Valence in tribute to the Pope Pie VI who died in Valence in 1799.
The shape is inspired by the gleaming ceremonial uniform of a Vatican Swiss Guard. More information : www.nivon.com
Pastrycook-chocolate maker from grand-father to grand-son, the Debroas family prepares “the Cosy” which is their speciality since 1950.
With its original form with orange flavor and walnut, the Cosy is a registred trademark.

“The Pogne” of Romans is a brioche made with eggs flavoured with orange aroma or rhum. Its origin comes from Middle-Age when it was called “Poignie” due to the wheat bowls used to prepare it.
The chocolate factory Valrhôna in Tain l’Hermitage is the purveyor by appointment of the biggest chefs andbest pastrycooks.
Valrhôna is also the first one having created a vintage chocolate providing the same meticulous care on his products than those applicated to the wine.
You must also taste the Clairette, the Raviole, the Young guinea fowl, the asparagus, the olive, the truffle, the Caillette, the nougat, our fruits full of sun. And many others treasure all served with our best vintage wines.
